According to a report, tech company Google will manufacture Pixel smartphones in India. For this, the company has announced to submit bids from Indian manufacturers to manufacture one million pixel smartphones. It is estimated that the company will manufacture 10 to 20 percent of its total Pixel smartphone production in India. Let us tell you that before this, the total stock of Pixel smartphones was manufactured in China.
As it is known that the PLI (Production Linked Initiative) scheme has been started by the Government of India to promote the manufacture of smartphones in the country, so that more number of smartphone companies manufacture their smartphones in India. It is reasonable that the central government wants to develop India as a mobile manufacturing hub, for which the PLI scheme has been introduced.
